Club Background
Originally formed by a group of Corvette aficionados in Southeast Florida during February of 1977, Sunshine Corvette Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to the Corvette automobile and its enjoyment.
Sunshine Corvette Club is the only club in Miami-Dade County affiliated with the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). There are over 20 NCCC member clubs in the Florida Region and we are proud and privileged to be one of them.
Our club members enjoy their Corvettes through a variety of activities such as restoration, car shows, parades, track driving and car cruising events.
A number of club cars have achieved National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) "Top Flight" recognition for originality and restoration.
Some of our members have been recognized for their competitive driving skills by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and the NCCC.
Club Activities
Each year Sunshine Corvette Club hosts an annual springtime car show that draws some of the most beautiful and rare Corvettes in the Southeast.
The club also sponsors an annual holiday season toy drive benefiting a local special education facility serving handicapped children.
In an effort to promote camaraderie and fun among club members and guests, the club schedules monthly social events with an emphasis on driving "America's Sports Car."
